The Hand Glyph

Hand glyph from the Dresden
Codex of the Mayan calendar.
The Mayan name for this glyph
is "Manik".
Geographical coordinates for the Hand glyph are 4°50 West longitude and 20° North latitude, with the apex near Mali, Africa on the TimeStar. Sites that align with the Hand glyph's center are noted over a crop circle made at East Kennett (England) in June, 2001.

A clenched five-fingered hand shows the thumb and fingers forming a double square. The opposing thumb of the human hand has been exalted by biologists as the leading edge of human accomplishment. The grandma and grandpa of sacred geometry in the golden spiral is what underlies the much applauded hand of human success. The Hand symbol in the Dresden Codex displays the golden mean in nothing less than a double square which greatly enamored the Egyptians and leads the trail back to Egypt and Thoth. The similitude of flying saucers, structure of space, and galaxies pointed out by Carl Jung is linked in form by the golden mean in numerous geometries.

With a skull capable of performing necessary work as intermediary between mind and body, the sacred measures of its structural components permitted artistry and accomplishment. The capacity for culture and technology gave humankind dominion over the environment, built the first fire and shelter from the elements.

Genesis: "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the Earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth." With things complete in Genesis 1, God rested then started all over again with a second creation in Genesis 2. The physical world was apparently satisfactory, because in the next creation God went right to work on man before leading him off to the Garden of Eden. The processes of the physical world were not mentioned again. Churchward believed that the two similar but different creation events came from differences in Egyptian and Indian versions. Theologians generally do not deal with the second creation of "man" in Genesis 2.

The symbolism of the Mayan calendar glyphs so closely parallels the Genesis mythological archetype that a common source is evident. Churchward's Naga Maya version envisions humankind the "power to rule" and an imperishable spirit from the beginning. The quality of living soul is not endowed to humankind in Genesis until the second creation when, "the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." This could be the result of confusion between different versions, but it could also be very much more.

Ea's bioengineering of homo erectus with the human genetics of the Sumerian gods produced greater intelligence and beauty. The potential of intelligent energy commanded by humankind was enormously enhanced, and The Book of Enoch refers to a problem with the souls of the children of the Nefilim returning after death. Sitchin traces Enoch's lineage directly to Ea, who favored Enoch with paternal pride. Many otherwise inexplicable problems could easily be answered by the relationship of the soul with the re-engineered human capacity and reincarnational cycles.

The Wind glyph is geographically
equal and opposite the Hand glyph
on the TimeStar.

NOTE: Islands rising in the Pacific, which the TimeStar predicted in October, 1998, will be the backdrop that other cycles play against for the next decade. Increased volcanic activity and changes in the base resonant frequency will accompany the islands' rising. Each TimeStar window after January 31, 1999 is predicted with the expectation of seismic and volcanic activity in the Pacific through 2008.
